Commission questions blanket approach to fibre regulation

The European Commission has opened an in-depth investigation into whether the fibre-access regulation proposed by Sweden’s telecoms regulator, PTS, sufficiently reflects local competitive conditions. It comes six years after the Commission vetoed PTS’s previous proposal.
